Scarce Brantingham's Aberdeen copper farthing token dated 1838. Obverse: The Coat of Arms of the City of Aberdeen consisting of two leopards supporting a three-castled shield with a head and feathers above. Reverse: Legend on two lines in centre and round periphery: "PAYABLE AT G. BRANTINGHAM'S ABERDEEN 1838". Plain edge. Listed in Bell's "Unofficial Farthings - A Supplement" as "SCARCE". Good collectable condition, see photograph.
