Dr Stuart's Glasgow Panacea Farthing 1840

Dr. Stuart's Glasgow (Lanarkshire) farthing token dated 1840. Obverse: An old medicine bottle labelled "PANACEA" with legend: "DR STUART . 39 MAXWELL STREET GLASGOW". Reverse: Two seated male figures, one taking the other's pulse: "PRIVATE MEDICAL ESTABLISHMENT 1840". Plain edge. Dr. John Knox Stuart was a qualified medical practitioner who advertised his services extensively and died on 19th August 1854. Good collectable condition, see photograph.
