Edward IV First Reign Heavy Coinage London Groat Class II

Edward IV first reign (1461-1470) silver London groat, Class II, Heavy Coinage (1461-1464), mint mark rose (1465-1465). Obverse: Facing crowned bust within tressure of nine arcs, trefoils on cusps except above crown, quatrefoils either side of neck, crescent on breast, saltire stops with legend: "|EDWARDxDIxGRA REX ANGL Z FRANC". Reverse: Long cross with three pellets in each quarter and legend: "|POSVI | DEVMxA | DIVTOR | ExMEVM" and "CIVI | TAS | LON | DON". Good collectable condition with nice light gold tone, see photograph.
