Edward IV second reign (1471-1483) silver London groat, Class XVIIIb, mint mark pierced cross with pellet at side (1477-1480). Obverse: Facing bust, no marks by neck, tressure of nine arcs with fleurs on cusps but not on breast or over crown, double and single saltire stops in legend: "+EDWARDxxDIxxGRAxREXxANGLxZxFRANC". Reverse: Long cross with three pellets in each quarter, double and single saltire stops and rose after "POSVI" and "ADIVTORE", with legends: "+POSVI* | DEVMxxA | DIVTOR | E*MEVMx" and "CIVI | TAS | LON| DON".
